JESUIT HIGH SCHOOL

Jesuit High School is a private college preparatory Catholic school in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 1956, it is rooted in a nearly five-century Jesuit tradition.  The curriculum focuses on the holistic growth of each student with the goal to develop compassionate leaders, dedicated to being "men and women for others."

MARKETING

OBJECTIVE

Prioritize clear brand and mission identity through cohesive messaging and design across digital and print platforms to reach past, present and future Jesuit students and families. 

ROLE

In this role, I executed and maintained social media communication strategies for all of Jesuit’s accounts. In addition to social media, I designed print and digital marketing materials, oversaw the school’s website, wrote press releases, built community-wide emails, constructed weekly newsletters, wrote dozens of news articles, formulated the marketing budget, and produced the alumni magazine. All of these abilities then came together for my role in employing consistent communication for fundraising initiatives which led to a considerable increase in fundraising dollars. At Jesuit, I formulated, produced, and executed marketing plans for six major fundraising events, helping to increase year-over-year revenue by 300%.

RESULTS

  • Increased Jesuit's Instagram following by over 40% 

  • Increased year-over-year revenue by 300% 

  • Wrote dozens of news articles that were read by thousands in the Jesuit community
