SPRINGFIELD TIMBERS
The Springfield Timbers are an American Legion baseball team located in the Eugene/Springfield area. Top baseball players ages 13-19 from local schools are recruited to play in the summer league. The team holds sportsmanship, an active lifestyle, and civic responsibility at the forefront of their mission.
BRANDING AND DIGITAL MARKETING
OBJECTIVE
After being known as the Willamette Valley Titans for many years, the team decided to return to their roots and switch the name back to the Springfield Timbers. Our objective focused on informing the community and sponsors of this change, as well as conducting outreach to high school coaches.
ROLE
I designed a new logo to give an updated feel to the team's aesthetic as well as pay homage to the logging history of Eugene. I also constructed a press release outlining how COVID-19 impacted the summer season. Additionally, I developed sponsorship package documents that the team can use next year, and strategized with the team for the social media rebrand.
